Once you’ve booked your free estimate, we’ll come out to your site to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and talk through options (including base layers and turf). We’ll measure the space and understand any additional requirements such as drip irrigation, pavers, palm tree installation, landscape lighting, etc – and begin preparing your estimate.
Review and iterate on design as needed and receive an estimate. Once estimate is approved we’ll get you on our schedule.
If required, Turf’s Up can help coordinate any permitting and ensure utilities are marked properly before any digging takes place.
Before installing artificial turf, we’ll prep the space by removing existing grass and debris, grading the area to ensure proper drainage, and installing base layers, typically crushed concrete. This is when any existing irrigation might be capped, edging is installed, and weed barrier is applied.
Once the site is prepared, your turf can be installed. This involves rolling out the turf and cutting it to fit the shape of your desired area with proven techniques to get as close as possible to hiding any seams.
Material added to the surface of the turf to add weight to keep the turf in place, help support the fibers, and provide cushioning. We exclusively use envirofill infill which is environment & pet friendly
Once your turf is installed, the seams between the individual pieces of turf need to be carefully joined and the edges need to be trimmed and secured. This step can take several hours or more, depending on the size and complexity of the area to create a near-seamless look for your design

Depending on which municipality the job is in and where on the site the job is (front yard versus backyard) – Turf’s Up will handle permitting and ensure utilities are marked properly before digging.
